Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental, energy, and industrial
services across North America, is seeking a diligent and
responsible CDL Driver Class A to join our Transportation &
Logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in
safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste while
adhering to company policies and complying with both local and
federal environmental regulations. By joining our team, you will
contribute directly to our mission of ensuring a cleaner, safer
environment. Operate Class A vehicles in compliance with local,
state, and federal regulations and company policies. Safely
transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated locations
following all protocols. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and promptly report any
issues or abnormalities. Prepare and maintain transport documents
like manifests, work orders, and duty status logs according to
company requirements and legal standards. Collaborate with the
operations team to schedule trips and plan routes efficiently.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, minimizing
downtime and ensuring operational efficiency. Actively participate
in safety meetings and training sessions to remain current on
industry practices and safety regulations. Strong driving skills
with proficiency in operating heavy vehicles. Ability to handle and
transport hazardous materials safely. Excellent time management to
adhere to pre-defined schedules. Attention to detail, particularly
with regards to regulatory and safety compliance. Effective
communication skills necessary for coordinating with dispatch and
responding to customer inquiries. Medical Insurance Dental
