Come see why you should work for HomeServe USA!Position Overview: This position will be responsible for the sales process from developing leads through successful contract negotiations. Position is accountable for successfully meeting all performance objectives, and representing HomeServe in a trustworthy, businesslike and professional manner. Position will be responsible for traveling as reasonably assigned by leadership. Position may also be required, from time-to-time, to assist with or on behalf of other affiliates of the Company, pursuant to the Company's instructions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead prospects through the entire partnership development life-cycle including concept exploration, opportunity demonstration, contract negotiation, and program implementation
  • Grow the number of utilities participating in either the legacy ServLine leak adjustment + Company marketing program, the ServLine leak adjustment program, or the Company marketing program.
  • Identify and lead research on partnership prospects
  • Participate in target industry associations, meetings and other networking opportunities
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales related fields
    • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Strong sales knowledge and understanding of the sales cycle
    • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Well organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks
    • Competency in MS Windows, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
    • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned Minimum Physical Requirements: The physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls while executing tasks like working on a computer or talking on the telephone. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to low. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis position may be full-time or part-time depending on the needs of the business and the agreement with the employee. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. with a 60-minute lunch. However, position may require alternative hours and weekends at times. Travel:Up to 40% - Travel to other sites and potential customer locations may be required throughout the year.
