To learn more please visit: https://www.solutionhealth.org/ POSITION SUMMARY The Strategic Planning Advisor will facilitate the organizational strategy formulation and on-going review. The planner will facilitate the cascading business unit plans development to support the overall organizational strategy and goals. The Planner will also support high level business planning, project management and analytical support for key strategic initiatives of SolutionHealth. The Strategic Planning Advisor will work closely with hospital and clinic leadership to manage the analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse enterprise-wide strategic projects and initiatives. The person in this role will be accountable to ensure alignment of strategy and goals and monitor goal performance across the system assisting corporate and department leaders in strategy deployment. This position will support business planning and leadership teams through plan development, analysis, and tracking.
-- PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Employees are expected to work consistently to demonstrate the mission, vision, beliefs, core values and standards of behavior of the organization. 1.Facilitate the strategic planning process from organizational strategic plan development to the cascading business unit supporting strategic initiatives. 2.Provide comprehensive strategic planning support to analyze feasibility and desirability of potential health system strategies and provide support in the planning, development, and implementation of those initiatives. 3.Research competition to identify threats and opportunities. 4.Develop and maintain project specifications, including business requirements, user requirements, functional and operating systems specifications. 5.Analyze and manage business requirements for new program initiatives, process re-designs, and operational reorganization efforts. 6.Construct forecasts and analytical models. 7.Establish systematic procedures for evaluating performance of different initiatives against expected costs and benefits. 8.Manage annual budget and expenses as requested. Prepare annual operating budgets by developing, analyzing and presenting data, reports and information. 9.Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
-- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: ---Minimally Required: Master's degree in health services administration, healthcare management, business administration or related field required. Experience: ---Minimally Required:-- * Demonstrated experience in implementation of project management methodologies from project scope development, planning, execution, monitoring and tracking project to planned timeline and budget. *Demonstrated experience in assessing feasibility of proposals for strategic initiatives, developing business plans and assessment Knowledge: ---Minimally Required: * Technical and analytical skills, including creativity and initiative, to conceptualize, plan and implement programs that support enterprise goals and objectives. *Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relations with management of all levels, colleagues, and other strategic partners. Skills: ---Minimally Required: Demonstrated excellent internal and external customer service skills by being tactful, helpful, and diplomatic and participate as a team member and deal effectively with other team members and customers. Abilities:-- ---Minimally Required:-- * Demonstrated ability to exercise planning, organization, and follow-through skills to effectively complete assignments. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once. *Demonstrated decision-making ability and the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in the performance of all assigned duties, and in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information. *Self-motivation and initiative to develop new strategies and ideas to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of office operations. *Ability to multi-task and prioritize work accordingly to meet stringent deadlines.
