Responsible for oversight of low complexity claims (Auto Material Damage). This includes hiring, training, licensing and mentoring of claims team. An emphasis is also placed on team development to ready individuals for internal promotional opportunities. Essential Functions:

• Hire and train specialists to handle low complexity claims (Auto Material Damage)
• Triage claims and assign to appropriate specialists or escalate as appropriate
• Ensure adequate staffing including licensing for claims handled
• Review claims against our claims best practices, providing direction and oversight
• Understand and keep current on multiple jurisdictions including a review of law bulletins and court decisions
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work performed by specialists and address any performance concerns.
• Coach to develop.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures Experience: 2 - 4 years--Prior claims experience and/or supervising the handling of claims.
