Grant-Funded On-Site Summer School Staff 2021
The Region's Summer School for students in grades K-8 and
students with Extended School Year (ESY) will take place from
Monday, 28 June through Friday, 23 July at Salisbury Central
The program will run Monday through Friday each week (with the
exception of 5 July) and involves students being engaged in both
academic learning (through an explicit tutoring program) with
embedded social-emotional learning activities and a social program
(games, activities, etc.).
We are seeking additional Summer School Staff to support this
important work. We are looking for a certified individual to run
the Pre-K autism program, as well as staff for our K-8 cohorts.
Be on-site from 8:30am to 12:30pm daily.
- Provide instruction/activities from 9:00am-12:00pm, which may
1:1 or small group academic tutoring
Running whole cohort (10-12 students) games, crafts,
Oversight of snack, arrival, and dismissal
Set up and clean up for your assigned cohort group.
Use data to create individualized instructional plans and
learning goals for students in your assigned cohort group
(Certified staff only)
Monitor student learning
Ensure that all staff and students follow all Covid-19 rules and
expectations in place at the time of summer school.
Be prepared to assist with contact tracing, if needed.

Experience and Certification
Experience working with students in Grades K-8 is preferred but
