Certified Medicine Aide where you will administer medications and
treatments within the standards of practice as per certification
permissions and state regulations.
Prepares and administers routine and PRN medications to patients
as prescribed by the physician and documents administration per
Maintains medication supply, cleans and restocks medicine carts
and medicine room.
Notifies pharmacy of new medication orders and refill.
Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug
Maintains current knowledge of medications and investigates
unknown medications before administration

Our commitment at Genesis affiliated nursing centers is to
protect the health and safety of our patients, residents and our
heroic employees. We take great pride in meeting or exceeding CDC
and CMS standards. On-site experts provide teaching, coaching, and
support on infection prevention practices. In addition, we maintain
an abundant supply of PPE, including N95/KN95 masks, for all who
provide care and services to our patients and residents. Our
multiple testing capabilities, including Point-of-Care (POC)
testing, are available at every location and comply with CMS and
Completion of a state-approved medicine course with a passing
grade is required. Completion of a state approved certified nursing
assistant program is required. Must be a Certified Nursing
Assistant with one year of experience in nursing. Must attend a
minimum of 16 hours continuing education programs provided by the
center in order to maintain certification.
