Description

Assists the practitioner in caring for patients

Brings patients into exam room. Conducts initial patient interviews to gather pertinent information regarding their office visit
Takes height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature. Checks vision, breath sounds and rate and pain assessment - as appropriate for reason for visit
Documents nature of calls from patients and refers to practitioner for decision/action.
Inventories medical supplies as needed and restocks rooms on a regular schedule
Tracks outstanding lab, x-ray and referral reports for follow up
Triage phone calls.
