you dare to make an impact? YOUR ROLE Establishes inspection test
methods, defines sampling procedures, creates inspection plans and
determines equipment to be used in the testing process. Accountable
for all Quality Control testing and product release activities
associated with the site's Epoxy, Urethane and MMA departments.
Accountable for the maintenance and calibration of all site lab
equipment (including equipment used by Operations in Specialty
Coatings and Hot Melt and including calibration only of PD
equipment). Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of all
site scales (including all Operations scales), and calibration of
lab equipment used by Product Development. Recommends changes in
specifications of raw materials and in Henkel products based on
inspection results. Formulates and revises quality control policies
and procedures as needed. Process Owner for Raw Material Incoming
Inspection and Calibration processes. Supervises staff of Quality
Specialists.
YOUR SKILLS A Bachelor's Degree (preferably in science) plus a
minimum of 2 years' experience in a laboratory setting or An
Associate Degree (preferably in science) plus a minimum of 5 years'
experience in a laboratory setting Supervisory experience is
preferred. Computer literacy is required. SAP experience is
required. Knowledge of statistics and statistical techniques is
preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
detailed problem solving/root cause analyses activities alone or
