Role Summary:
Cobalt Benefits Group, LLC is seeking a Client Service Specialist (CSM) to join our growing team. We are a growing stabile third party administrator coordinating any benefit needs for large companies. The core objective of the Client Service Manager is to work in tandem with a Strategic Account Manager to create and preserve lasting relationships with our key clients. This position communicates with high level point of contacts for our key clients. The CSM will need to multi-task to meet and exceed the daily inquiries and concerns of our key clients on matters related to their group life, health, dental and vision plans. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales and his assigns.

Responsibilities: The day to day responsibility of a Client Service Manager includes:


  • Act as a high level internal client responder, to manage key company inquiries.
  • Assist with contract renewals and additions to existing client base by answering and recommending solutions into benefits and coverages
  • Assist with implementation/onboarding of new clients
  • Escalate client concerns and utilize core internal resources and systems for grievances and appeals
  • Assist in the development and design of client presentations


    • Associates degree or years 2 of equivalent related experience
    • One to three years experience in the health benefit/ insurance space ( plan building, claims, customer service, etc)
    • Advanced Excel Skills
    • Understanding of medical/insurance terminology ( deductibles, co-pays, coverages, etc)
    • Ability to work independently and across team setting
