Radiation Oncologist, Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT (90 minutes from NYC)The Department of Radiation Oncology at Norwalk Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time radiation oncologist to join a collegial practice as a part of the Nuvance Health Cancer Institute. This ACR accredited facility houses two Varian Truebeam linear accelerators and performs the full breadth of modern radiation treatments. Located in beautiful Fairfield County, candidates would enjoy access to top-rated schools, friendly communities, parks, trails, beaches, and proximity to Manhattan. - Candidates will enjoy being a part of a successful and long-standing cancer center within the sphere of a wider health system that spans western Connecticut and eastern upstate New York. The practice is well-established, compensation competitive, and staff are both supportive and experienced. - The ideal candidate will be:-ABR board-certified, or eligible.-Comfortable performing advanced radiation techniques including linac-based SRS, SBRT, IGRT, and brachytherapy.-Eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut.-Personable and interested in forming strong, collaborative, relationships with referring providers.-Interested in building/developing programs, enrolling patients in clinical trials, and participating in tumor boards. - Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound.
