**Senior Information Security Officer** to join our growing
**Information Technology** team! This position will report directly
to the **Chief Information Security Officer** in a HYBRID capacity
or in our **Wilmington, DE** location.The Sr. Information Security
Officer will be a member of the Chemours Cyber & Information
Security organization and work closely with our Business Units and
global functions. This position requires strong relationship
management skills to interact with key business leaders throughout
Chemours to support the implementation of our cybersecurity
programs and initiatives. In this role, you will need to develop a
deep understanding of our business in order to have specialized
information security risk-based discussions. This person will be a
cybersecurity subject matter expert dedicated to supporting our
Business Units and global functions in making risk-informed
decisions based on the evolving cyber threat landscape, regulatory
requirements, and Chemours policy.**The responsibilities of the
position include, but are not limited to, the following:**+ Use
Business Relationship Management techniques to partner with
business to assess impact of security controls or policies by
maintaining compliance with cybersecurity laws, audits etc. by
providing secure solutions, secure standards and where necessary
compensating controls+ Ability to translate technical/security
issues to business users+ Build key relationships with the business
and serve as a liaison to the Cybersecurity and key Information
Technology functions+ Knowledge to assess operational or Cyber
opportunities and determine best way to address by potentially
leveraging technology or automation+ Proficiency to influence and
drive collaboration across diverse groups+ Strong communicator who
instills confidence and can communicate clearly and effectively at
all levels+ Capacity to provide leadership and develop tactics to
achieve strategic cybersecurity objectives**The following is**
**_required_** **for this role:**+ 7+ years of Information
Technology roles with experience & understanding of Cyber Risk
Management, Information Assurance or Compliance with deep technical
experience as a security engineer or architect+ Bachelor's degree
or higher in a business or technology related field; Additional
relevant experience and professional certifications will be
considered in lieu of a degree+ Practical working knowledge of
frameworks, such as ISO 27001, CSF, CIS, and NIST beyond theory
with a specific focus on business outcomes and service delivery+
Has the accessibility and ability to interface with, and build
credibility and relationships with all stakeholders+ Highly
organized and motivated self-starter who can deliver consistent
results with minimal direction**The following is** **_preferred_**
**for this role:**+ CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other relevant
certification+ Experience in leveraging global teams with matrix
resources+ Ability to influence others to achieve objectives+
Should be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills+
Current understanding of Industry trends and emerging threats; and
knowledge of incident response methodologies and
