great opportunity for a dynamic and motivated CNC Machinist to join
our team in Bloomfield, CT on night shift with a 15% shift
differential. The core hours for the position are 3:30pm to 12:00am
and we are currently running one hour of mandatory overtime, at the
end of the shift for a required 45 hours a week. Overttime pay is
1.5x the hourly rate for all hours in excess of 40 hours in a week.

ResponsibilitiesMachinist IVIndependently sets up, adjusts,
troubleshoots and checks out programming and operates numerically
controlled machine tools (2 axis lathe / 3 axis mill) to perform a
complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified
line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish
specifications requiring an intermediate level of skillSetups
involve familiarity with and understanding of program formats
involving combinations of operations such as milling, boring,
recessing, turning, drilling, threading, screw machine operation,
etc., to the capacity of the machine and control factorWorks from
programs, operation sheets, and machine setup
instructionsSelf-sufficient with material clamping methods, machine
adjustments/offsets and console settingsMachinist VStrong ability
to setup and run all standard axis (2 axis, 3 axis) numerically
controlled machine tools to perform a complex series of progressive
machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and
exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring a high
degree of skillWorks from programs, operation sheets, and machine
setup instructionsSelf-sufficient with all aspects of machine set

supervisionTroubleshoots basic programming errors such as taper,
chatter and chip controlProficient in setting up CNC machineWorks
to standard in jaw-cutting, bringing a part to size and inspecting
a part for a first pieceHas working knowledge of the relationship
between federate and surface finish as well as surface speed to
