The IT Lead Systems Engineer's primary area of responsibility is in Enterprise Monitoring, which provides visibility into the performance of applications and ecosystems, with automated alerts and persona-based dashboarding, to ensures system reliability and availability.
You will also work closely with the Automation and Portfolio Optimization team. Automation replaces repetitive, manual work with Robotic Process Automation RPA) or "bots" and other innovative automation technologies to drive productivity. And, Portfolio Optimization governs and optimizes inventories of software applications to manage risk and promote system resiliency.

Essential Functions
Drive enterprise observability capabilities, work with the team to grow the Enterprise Monitoring Center of Excellence, owns governance and deployment. Embrace the reliability engineering and resiliency mindset. Lead the team in developing observability and automation solutions and engage the application support teams. Provide direct technical support for all monitoring installations and development. Help mature the Enterprise Monitoring program through expansion and development of new capabilities. Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement. Communicate and collaborate with IT and business partners at various levels of the organization. Coach and advise team members, provide guidance with tasks and assignments.
Required Skills, Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Information Technology-related area is required.
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in Information Technology
Expert in Site Reliability Engineering/ Application Performance Monitoring, with at least five (5) years experience. Skill with Splunk and/or AppDynamics preferred; certification preferred
Mastery of Software Requirements Engineering, Design and Implementation & Maintenance
History of successful delivery of business transformation or IT programs
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
