Essex area manufacturing company has an opening in their accounting department for an accounts payable specialist. We are looking for a person who has experience handling AP functions and can take the lead to ensure payments are being made within a timely manner and accurately.Temporary with the potential of hire for the right accounting professional. Up to $30 per hour, depending on experience plus benefits package.As the lead accounts payable specialist, you will oversee and manage all the AP activities.Process accounts payableReview posted transactions for accuracyPerform bank reconciliationsProcess credit card transactionsGeneral ledger entriesAssist the controller and department with other accounting functions where neededExperience working with Sage would be a plus.
