We build trusted relationships and healing spaces to nourish Belonging, Love, and Purpose.Our organization is seeking experienced counselors to provide group counseling, psychoeducation and related interventions for individuals struggling with addiction and seeking long-term recovery with medication assistance.If you are a caring, dedicated professional who is able to work independently, possesses strong communication skills, maintains exemplary ethical standards, practices evidence-based techniques and has a true desire to help others, stop now, this is the position for you!In this role, you will interact regularly with clients, referral sources, field staff, and members of the local community. You will be a resource for clients and community partners, guiding them on the path to recovery. You will work side by side with a high impact team of medical providers and coordinators, helping clients to thrive. Your work is essential and your constant feedback will be expected to help clients reach the best outcome possible.Responsibilities for counselors include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life Partners
Facilitating group counseling sessions -
Utilizing evidence-based curriculum guides and training
Providing detailed feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes on clients
Counseling one-on-one with clients, when deemed necessary
Participating in Better Life Partners', community research and public health partners' research and data collection efforts
Formulating and maintaining individualized treatment plans
Collaborating with community partners and medical - providers on case management and care coordination efforts
Adhering to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundaries
Managing group dynamics and problem behavior with strong, professional judgment and in a way that does not jeopardize group integrity
Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing purposes
Attending and engaging in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessaryQualifications for a Counselor:
Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field
New Hampshire State License as LADC, MLADC, LMFT, LCMHC, LICSW; Master level preferred
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related fieldWillingness to work 1 - 2 evening shifts (until 8:30pm)
Valid driver's license
Willingness to occasionally travel within the State is preferredThis is a full-time, exempt status position.The starting salary is $49 - $69k annually.This is a hybrid position. - When not providing in-person services at one of our community partner locations (primarily in Manchester, NH), you'll be working from home.Work from home requirements:
Must have internet service with minimum upload/download ability.Company will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset) plus a remote work stipend. -Must have a quiet space to speak to members with minimal background noise.Must understand the importance of protected health information and ensure any data/information is not visible to others.Better Life Partners facilitates the treatment of behavioral health conditions including addiction medicine.
