Description:Avesta Housing is seeking a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to work at our assisted living facility, 75 State Street. The role of a PSS is to provide high quality care to the residents of the facility that include personal care, assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. About 75 State StreetLocated in the historic West End neighborhood of Portland, Maine, 75 State Street is a nonprofit senior community offering a continuum of care that includes Independent Living and Assisted Living. What We're Looking ForThe person who is ready for this opportunity will have 1 or more years' experience working within a similar role and meet the following requirements:Excellent judgmentCaring attitudeDetail orientedGood communications skillsStrong interpersonal skills
