Job Mission
ASML and its subsidiaries are critically dependent on their ability
to leverage enterprise / business process data from internal
systems and applications, from suppliers, and from customers to
run, optimize, and improve our business operations and
services.Collection, processing, enrichment, and consumption of
this data is essential to improve business processes, drive
operational performance improvements and continuously increase
efficiencies in customer service and business operations.
The initial focus of this position is enable access and expand
insight of Wilton Factory operations and manufacturing data in SAP
HANA to support a range of high priority analytics use cases to
support aggressive factory output growth, improve operational
visibility, and drive operational improvements.The longer term
ambition for this position is to establish a strong understanding
of the Wilton Factory operations, processes, and associated data in
order to enable smart manufacturing, data-driven factory, and
process digitization opportunities.
This position may require access to controlled technology, as
defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et
seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access
such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business
demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are
immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
This role is based in Wilton, CT. The selected candidate will be
part of the ASML IT Enterprise Solution Delivery Analytics US team
and is responsible for understanding and delivering new analytics
use cases for the ASML Wilton Factory based on our SAP HANA
enterprise/business process data landscape. As a senior business
intelligence analyst, you must demonstrate functional and technical
expertise when collaborating with business counterparts to
understand operational processes, data dependencies, and co-deliver
data management and analytics solution(s). This includes delivery
responsibilities through the full DevOps process, from analysis -
development - testing - go-live and supporting solutions on the
production environment.
Your team is a virtual global team based in Veldhoven (Netherlands)
and Wilton, CT. Your team works in the manufacturing analytics
domain, supporting all ASML factories worldwide with reporting and
data solutions to gain insights in the manufacturing process. You
will work within an Agile scrum team within a Scaled Agile
Framework (SAFe) context. You will capture the constant and dynamic
refinement of business priorities and data & analytics user
stories. You are looked upon, and rewarded for, being able to
navigate between business value and technical implementation.
Together with your team you will focus on driving ASML's ambitions
by building a modern Data & Analytics platform and data foundation,
using modern DevOps and Cloud components and leveraging the Agile
mindset and practices.

which means change is a constant. Due to the market chip shortage,
an efficient and smooth manufacturing process of our machines is
essential to ASML to meet high customer demand for our equipment.
Your team directly contributes to insights and improvements in
these key operations process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assess, design, and implement analytics solutions for ASML Wilton
Factory by partnering with the business engineering team and
working closely with business stakeholders.
Understand Wilton Factory operational processes and innovation
ambitions.
Understand and enable manufacturing operations goals through
analytics that provide insight mapped to metrics and support
executive decisions.
Understand the primary business operations of the enterprise and
understand the data and analytics linkage to customer-facing,
supplier-related, business execution and business management
functions.
Actively participate in relevant Scrum and SAFe rituals and take
part in continuous journey toward a more agile organization.
Ensure solutions developed are aligned to ASML development
standards and governance principles.
Strong partner in discussions with solution team system architect
and other stakeholders within the internal customer
departments.
Contribute to the design, improvement, and implementation of the
ASML data foundation.
Keep abreast with relevant business and IT domains, literature,
means and methods.

Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics and Data Analytics,
Operations Management and Analysis, Information Management, or
equivalent functional/technical domain.Master's degree a plus.
SAP HANA 100 and 150 certifications required; SAP Certified
Development Associates preferred.
Business Management or Operational Excellence degree or equivalent
certificates (i.e. Lean Six Sigma, etc.) a plus.
Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR-P), American Productivity &
Quality Center (APQC) certifications a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience working on improving
business operations via data and analytics capabilities;
At least 5 years of Native HANA/BI/SQL hands-on development
experience;
A strong HANA (Cloud) development background with HANA100 and
HANA150 certifications required. SAP Certified Development
Associates preferred;
Preferred technical expertise in working with HANA Studio;
procedures, calculation views, attribute views. Also in HANA data
provisioning, virtual tables, infolinks, data validation and
error-handling, exposing data models to Spotfire, experience of
writing complex SQL scripts;
Minimum of 3 years working in Agile SCRUM teams as an analyst,
developer, data engineer, or similar role;
Demonstrated knowledge in implementing data and analytics
capabilities business process operational excellence through key
performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics;
Demonstrated competence with benefits, design and management of
leveraging structured and unstructured data for business operations
improvements;
Demonstrated expertise with assessing and implementing data-centric
initiatives, information policy formation, information taxonomy and
business data modeling;
Demonstrated competence in business domain and requirement
elicitation and analysis
Demonstrated competence with open source or commercial data
visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Spotfire, etc.);
Working knowledge of SAP ECC or S4/HANA as an enterprise business
system;
Working knowledge of data science, data mining, OLAP programming,
database management and programming, business process modeling and
analysis.
Familiar with complex products business environment and
manufacturing business domains; experience with semiconductor
industry, discrete high-tech manufacturing, and global supply chain
/ logistics is a plus. Understanding of ASML business operations
and IT environments is also a plus.
Familiar with data warehousing (design and operations) and database
design concepts
Familiar with data governance principles, enterprise data modeling,
and data management practices
Familiar with model-based representations that can be adjusted as
required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and
conflicting information about the business.
