Develops and executes in-depth processes to ensure compliance with benefit plan documents and federal regulations. Supervises the Benefits Analyst. DescriptionRequired Qualifications - Education and Yrs ExpBachelors or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesFive or more years of experience as an HRIS or Benefits Specialist, or other related experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to troubleshoot systems-related issues.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Technical aptitude and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include intermediate to advanced excel skills. Percentage Of Time20DescriptionEvaluates current benefit plan practices and procedures and identifies areas for improvement. Makes recommendations to leadership and facilitates the implementation of approved changes through project management, coordination of involvement from key stakeholders, and collaborating with HRIS team in facilitation of technical updates. Percentage Of Time20DescriptionLeads data-driven projects requiring the testing of employee data for purposes of providing accurate information, such as, producing personalized Total Compensation statements. Percentage Of Time10DescriptionCollaborates with HRIS team and outside vendors to compile data from various sources to provide reports necessary to ensure compliance with benefit plan documents and federal regulations, as well as to provide data analysis for management (i.e. ACA reporting, retirement plan reconciliations, non-discrimination testing, etc.). Percentage Of Time15DescriptionServes as subject-matter expert for data processing and reporting by providing technical support, testing system functionality for system upgrades and troubleshooting issues.Drafts correspondence and other documents in response to data research and analysis. Percentage Of Time10DescriptionManages the vendor relationship for the health & welfare benefits administration enrollment platform, including monthly invoice validation and Open Enrollment planning.
