Job Description:

An established employer is seeking a Logistics/Compliance manager to join the team! The Logistics/Compliance manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities related to planning, dispatching, routing, and tracking for the driving fleet. The Logistics/Compliacne manager will monitor the process to minimize delivery costs, maximize delivery efficiency and support white glove delivery service for superior customer service. ISO 9000 experience valued Chemical and environmental compliance needed Strong Logistics experience Safety issues including leaks and storage issues.Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities of the Logistics/Compliance manager:

• Manage transportation and logistics for outbound shipments to customers for the ensuring safety, minimizing transit time, and satisfying customer needs.
• Build routes and loads, dispatching shipments and communicating with carriers.
• Manage and track inbound and outbound loads. Support dispatch of local and international loads as needed.
• Respond to unforeseeable issues with drivers, routes, customers, and equipment by developing and implementing a plan of action to correct and continue operations.
• Initiate contact with various carriers and negotiate rates for backhauls, etc.
• Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits on tractors and trailers and support with safety manager as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, maintain interaction with customers on a continuous basis gathering feedback on safety, quality and delivery for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and providers that address QSC delivery needs.
  • Coordinate changes made to operational plan (in real time) with drivers and customers to ensure all stakeholders are aware of updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory compliance for logistics operations.Compensation/benefits for Logistics/Compliance manager:
