Job Description:
What You'll Do
The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient
operation and optimization of the organization's human resources
information systems (HRIS). This position is a technical point of
contact for HR Partners and Managers providing technical support,
troubleshooting issues and maintaining data integrity.
Collaborating with subject matter experts to implement system
enhancements, testing of system changes, creation of standard
operating procedures (SOPs), report writing and analyzing data
flows for process improvement opportunities.
Technical Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users regarding
HR Systems related inquiries, issues, and requests.
- Provide timely and effective troubleshooting assistance to
resolve system errors and user problems.
- Document and track support tickets, resolutions, and user
feedback to identify recurring issues and opportunities for
improvement.
- Ongoing development and maintenance of HR Operation's policies
and procedures library as we evolve and as regulations
change.
- Design and deliver training materials to equip HR Partners with
the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to new HR systems,
policies, and processes.
- Owner of HR process and compliance such as Onboarding, Time &
Attendance, EEO, eI9, Affirmative Action, employment compliance,
etc.
- Stay informed about industry best practices in Human Resources
policies and procedures as well as regulatory changes.
System Administration:
- Assist with user access requirements and security
settings.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance
with company policies and regulations.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and integrations with
other software platforms.
- Collaborate with next level support on escalations and needed
configuration changes.
Training and Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and resources
to educate HR staff and system users on HRIS functionality and best
practices.
- Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other documentation
to support self-service and knowledge sharing.
Data Management:
- Oversee data imports, exports, and system updates to ensure the
accuracy and integrity of HR data.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to define data requirements,
standards, and validation processes.
- Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making
and compliance reporting.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve
system efficiency through automation, workflow enhancements, and
system optimization.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to implement new
system features, modules, or functionalities.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology,
Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in HRIS administration and support.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize new software.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Access, Word and
PowerPoint. Must have intermediate level skills using pivot tables,
lookups and formulas.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Ceridian-Dayforce, ADP,
Workday, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen
attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey
technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and
independently with minimal supervision.
What We Value
- Certification in HR technology or relevant systems is a
plus.
