Responsibilities
Weatherford is hiring a Manufacturing Production Scheduler for our
Wallingford facility. The Manufacturing Scheduler will be working
within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive

The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for ensuring the timely
execution of production activities on shop floor by creating,
monitoring, and adjusting the production schedule in line with
demand and capacity constraints.

Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety
leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all
subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company
premises
QUALITY
Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies
and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of
Weatherford's Management System
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working
across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for
improvement
OPERATIONS
Create detailed production schedules that align with demand,
resource availability, and manufacturing capabilities.
Assess capacity and workload weekly, implementing measures to
prevent overload.
Eliminate shop overload by distributing the load evenly among work
centers with similar capability and establish outsourcing plan
wherever needed.
Coordinate with production [ Assembly and machine shop], to ensure
schedules are realistic and achievable.
Respond promptly to changes in demand or production disruptions,
adjusting the schedule as necessary.
Monitor production progress, ensuring that WO operation
start/request dates are achieved as planned.
Ensure Work orders with outside process operations are sent on time
to suppliers.
Optimize production sequences to minimize lead times and maximize
resource utilization.
Collaborate with the manufacturing planner to align daily
production schedules with monthly and weekly manufacturing
plans.
Work with warehouse team to ensure that required materials are
pulled and staged for scheduled Work orders.
Evaluate potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
through outsourcing.
Provide regular updates to management on schedule adherence,
highlighting any deviations and corrective actions taken.
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both
internal and where appropriate external
Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations,
roles and responsibilities to their reports
FINANCIAL
All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be
financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function
budget or simply their own expenses
Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within
agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and
procedure
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager

Qualifications
REQUIRED
University Degree/Diploma &/or 4+ years related experience
Legally authorized to work
Minimum 2 years of experience in shop floor manufacturing
planning
Ability to interact in English and potentially other language
relevant in local hub
Intermediate Excel user and proficient in MS Office suite
Experience in ERP systems
PREFERRED
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Certified Purchasing Professional
(CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Sourcing
Certificate
6+ years of experience in a scheduling, supply chain position
