--- Exceed our customers' evolving expectations by providing World Class customer service and a pleasant and rewarding shopping experience.

--- Build relationships with and educate our customers in order to create sales.

--- Verify customer information on receipt matches actual prescription container at pick up.

--- Gather and record drop-off information needed to prepare prescription.

--- Gather prescription refill orders on a daily basis.

--- Help patients find over the counter medications without making a recommendation.

--- Operate a cash register.

Requirements

--- Ability to represent A Culture of Caring and The Pursuit of Excellence--- through Big Y's Firm Foundations--- (Character, Collaboration, Personal Development, Actions & Results).

--- MA - Able to pass Pharmacy Technician Registration after 500-1000 hours of training.

--- CT - Must complete state application process and work with a registered tech for 30 days to become registered.

--- Must have a high school diploma, GED or enrolled in GED program.

--- Must complete HIPAA training.

--- Must project a clean and professional appearance.

--- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct.

--- Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards.

--- Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the pharmacy.

--- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to prioritize and follow-through.

--- Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

--- Ability to learn and utilize computer applications.

--- Must be 18 years of age.

--- Must consent to and pass a drug screen and background investigation.
