Job description:



Lead the charge on site, managing all construction activities and ensuring work aligns with plans and specifications
Set up dust protection as needed
Hands on work needed at times, demolition, framing, siding, trim, cabinet installation, drywall repairs
Supervise crews and equipment, coordinating subcontractors and trade work
Keep the project on track, maintaining schedules, solving problems, and ensuring timely inspections
Order materials and manage job
Maintain strong relationship with subcontractors, vendors, team members and homeowners
Champion safety, enforcing best practices and eliminating hazards
Stay organized by maintaining job files, logs and reports
Assist with estimates, contract and change orders
Oversee inspections and coordinate with local officials and subcontractors



What you bring to the table



Construction knowledge- You understand specifications, read blue prints, materials methods, and building codes inside and out
Strong leadership - You're a proactive problem solver who can manage teams and make confident decisions and be able to defend those decisions
Technical expertise - You're comfortable with construction software like Chief architect, 2020, Rapid Estimator and be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Clear communication - Whether leading meetings, talking to homeowners, building officials or resolving challenges/differences, you get your point across effectively
Experience - 10yrs in the remodeling/new home business, EPA Lead Safe certified but not required
Vehicle - Must have safe & reliable transportation able to carry your personal tools
Tools - You must have your own hand tools, tool belt, hammer, tape measure, skill saw, cordless drill, assorted screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets
