(H&B) line of business.
- In this role you will have the opportunity to lead consulting
engagements, typically our more sophisticated and complex clients
with 5,000+ employees.
- As the lead MercerWell consultant on the client team, you will
play a lead role the development and execution of our clients'
their population health management strategy. You will manage
engagements which include marketplace overviews; strategic
planning, procuring, developing and implementing solutions;
managing solutions; and data analytics for monitoring the impact of
solutions. Additionally, you will also have responsibility for
driving sales of such engagements.We will count on you
to:Marketplace
- Understand the population health management marketplace, with
the ability to effectively communicate Mercer's position on latest
industry trends to clients
- Develop and create demand for new products/services in the
marketplace
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of carrier and vendor
capabilities across sectors that impact our clients to best align
those resources to client needs
- Leverage Mercer's size and reputation to negotiate highly
competitive fees and solution options from carriers and
vendorsClients
- Lead complex client engagements, including managing overall
service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, procurements,
implementations, and ongoing monitoring
- Determine the full scope of services provided to the client and
sets roles/responsibilities within the client team
- Utilize appropriate Mercer tools in the development and
execution of client strategy
- Draw upon Mercer's multi-disciplinary team of consultants to
bring the resource(s) forward to clients (e.g., communications,
compliance, etc.)People
- Manage support staff which is contingent upon the size and
complexity of the engagement as well as revenue of the account and
oversee the execution of deliverables
- Delegate effectively to provide developmental opportunities to
team members including providing ongoing feedback, mentoring and
coaching
- Leverage work to the most appropriate career
level/gradeFinancial & Sales
- Accountable for revenue/profitability for client projects
- Monitor & measure the success of projects in terms of scope,
budget, timeliness and client satisfaction
- Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and
by leading prospecting efforts with new clients
- Lead and participate in new business opportunities with sales
channel partners
- Cross-sell other Mercer and Marsh McLennan products and
services to clients
- Provide administrative and operational support to Mercer
products(e.g., Mercer Health Advantage, etc.).
- Incorporate compliance and professional standards into all work
processes, including peer review and maintaining required
licensureWhat you need to have:
- BA/BS, or advanced degree, psychology,
social work, public health or related field preferred
- 10+ years' experience in identifying, designing, recommending
and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to
employers' complex population health management challenges
- Extensive knowledge of the global population health and
behavioral health marketplace
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding
work environment and to work independently and on a team
- Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills plus the ability
to market organizational strengths successfully
- Superior business acumen, analytical, strategic planning, oral
and written communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proven management skills in leading large, complex
projects
- Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the
flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections

office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their
local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per
week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day"
per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $115,200 to
$230,400.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as
experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education,
and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be
determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary,
this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
