Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel job in Bangor, Maine.
Electrophysiology Technician
- Shift: 10 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel

- No, need at least 1-year travel experience
- Adults and some IR Peds (not common)
- Travel staff are assigned to modalities based on their experience/competency. Hospitalist, 24/7 primary for Medical/Surgical patients
Charting System/Equipment:
CERNER PowerChart for the hospital
Specialty equipment used: Phillips x-ray in Cath Lab and EP, Siemens x-ray for IR/Neuro-Vascular, Maquet balloon pump, Impella, CSI, Angiojet/Jetstream, Phillips Laser, EKOS, Sonosite for ultrasound, Abbott for FFR, Boston Scientific for IVUS, MedRad Arterion for IR, MedRad Avanta for Cath Lab, Penumbra, CardioMems
Four 10-hour shifts/week with 1 day off.
Call: 1 day/week and about every 6th -weekend
Weekday call is 1730-0700; weekday call team will complete last case of the day
Weekend call is 1730 Friday - 0700 Monday
IR/Neuro: 1 RN/2 Techs - 1 RN/1 Tech for IR nights

-Might float to help in prep/recovery; RTs will not take patient assignment but help with turnover and flow
