intelligent managed networks, next generation Wi-Fi solutions,
High-Speed Internet Access management and global support solutions.
The company offers complete guest and resident internet and
connectivity solutions, including components of IP network design,
engineering, professional services, ongoing maintenance, networking
monitoring, multi-lingual support, revenue reporting and
authentication tracking. Single Digits currently serves over 3300
customers across the hospitality, student housing, MDU,
transportation, and federal and municipal government
facilities.About The PositionThe Senior Director, Hospitality Sales
is an individual contributor with responsibility for selling Single
Digits managed Wi-Fi service and PlatformONE software solutions to
hotel ownership groups and management companies. Additional
responsibilities include customer executive relationship
development and management, strategic selling, and
meeting/exceeding assigned sales objectives. He/she is also
accountable for providing active support to the hospitality sales
team, account management team, and operations team members. This
includes supporting Single Digits compliance and required
performance against brand-mandated hotel standards and initiatives
to ensure hospitality customer satisfaction and
success.Responsibilities* Develop and maintain trusted business
relationships with technology buyers and decision influencers at
targeted hotel ownership groups and management companies* Act as
the primary executive point of contact for Single Digits for
strategic selling, customer satisfaction, and associated
communications* Maintain a rhythm of regular communications and
in-person visits with customer executives who determine internet
services partner relationships and make buying decisions*
Participate and provide leadership in customer requested meetings
and calls* Identify and sell Wi-Fi and PlatformONE software
solutions to hotel ownership groups and management companies in
partnership with Solutions Engineering and the Hospitality Sales
Team to exceed assigned sales objectives* Identify and sell new
hotel sales opportunities* Lead strategic account planning and
implement effective sales plans * Meet and communicate regularly
with Solutions Engineering and Hospitality Sales team members, and
participate in joint sales calls on opportunities* Maintain a
strong working knowledge of brand-mandated standards and
requirements for top hospitality brands* Attend tradeshows and
customer events to expand hospitality customer relationships and
drive new hotel sales and existing contract renewals* Attend
recurring internal meetings with Single Digits leadership to review
and manage the health of the property portfolios at our strategic
hotel ownership groups and management companies* Maintain an
in-depth knowledge of Single Digits value propositions and
capabilities, and articulate them effectively to existing and
prospective hotel ownership groups and management companies*
Partner with other internal departments, including Solutions
Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Customer
Care, etc. to support company performance and maintain high levels
of customer satisfaction* Work with Marketing, Operations, and
Engineering teams to enhance existing products/services and develop
new offerings* Promote a positive reputation and brand image for
Single Digits in the marketplace* Quickly escalate pricing,
installation, service, or other customer issues as necessary and
act as the lead to manage and resolve them in a timely manner*
Provide leadership on the creation and management of "get well"
plans for hotel ownership groups and management companies when
required, and support the execution to achieve customer
satisfaction and successQualifications* Bachelor's degree or
equivalent from a four-year college or university* Minimum 10 years
of successful sales and business development experience selling to
the hospitality technology sector* Minimum 5 years of established
owner/technology buyer relationships at top hotel ownership and
management companies* Thorough understanding of executive
relationship development and the strategic sales process* Strong
business and financial acumen with a deep understanding of the
economic drivers in the hospitality sector* Strong working
knowledge of Wi-Fi, wireless internet products and services, and
SaaS* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal
and written* Customer focused with exceptional customer service and
customer relationship skills* Willing to travel up to 50% based on
needs of the business* Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com* Personal Attributes* Team
player with unquestioned integrity and business ethics* Personally
accountable for achieving results* Self-starter who leads by
example and personal involvement* Passion for exceeding
