with additional training POSITION DESCRIPTION: Builds sales by
developing dealer and distributor programs and processing orders.
HLAs - HIGH LEVERAGE ACTIVITIES (focus actions that will return the
highest impact) Identify, pursue, and maintain a constant flow of
potential customers that meet or exceed established quotas through
prospecting, networking, and referral activities. Area covered will
be Saco, Maine and surrounding counties. Provide solutions to
customers regarding products, prices, availability, product uses,
and credit terms. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
Maintains positive relationships with assigned customers by
contacting regularly and providing assistance as needed to expand
sales opportunities. Expands business by prospecting for new
customers. Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have
been served properly. Resolves outstanding issues in a timely
manner. Provides management with information on assigned customer
visits, prospective customer visits, and other relevant data
points. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining
personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership. Maintains
professional appearance. Other duties assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Prior experience and success selling
heavy truck parts in a highly competitivemarket. History of growing
sales to current customers and cultivating new business Working
knowledge of truck components and systems Ability to locate and
provide alternative solutions for customers when needed Excellent
Time Management and Organizational skills Ability to work
independently and deal with people. Valid Driver's license
required. Product Knowledge, Vendor Relationships, Channel
Management, Reporting Skills,Product Management. Meeting Sales
Goals, Sales Planning, Negotiation, Understanding the
Customer,Emphasizing Excellence Excellent analytical and
communication skills. Ability to use various computer software in a
