Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 base salary + commission. On-target earnings of $100,000 - 120,000 or more based on performance! Location: Augusta, ME (In-office optional for local candidates, with required travel for client meetings throughout Maine. Future possibilities for hybrid or in-office work if desired.) Work Hours & Travel: Business Hours Monday - Friday, plus availability for leading seminars or meeting with clientele. Must be willing to travel throughout Maine state. Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Pet Insurance 14 Paid Holidays 401(k) with Generous Match Paid Vacation/PTO Paid Sick Time Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Options Employer Paid Life Insurance Provided Book of Business & New Appointments Set Family-Oriented Environment Career Growth Opportunities, and More! - Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent Role Summary: As an Insurance Producer with a Life and Health license, your primary responsibility will be to sell a range of insurance products, including Medicare (Parts A and B), Medicare Supplemental Plans (Medigap), Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C), Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNPs). You'll inherit an established book of business from a retiring agent and act as the location's primary Producer. Coming in on the ground floor, your role will focus on both servicing and growing your book of business, with potential opportunities to lead a future team as the company reaches new heights. - Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Business Development: - Meet weekly sales goals (5-10+ new sales), with the majority of appointments set by the company. Generate additional leads through referrals, networking, and marketing. Conduct in-depth needs analysis, providing tailored insurance solutions. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process. Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain accurate quotes and provide clients with comprehensive coverage options. - Stay updated on industry trends, product changes, and regulatory requirements to effectively advise clients. - 2. Consultation and Advisory: - Educate clients on the benefits, features, and limitations of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and PDP plans. - Analyze clients' existing coverage for improvements or cost savings. - Guide clients throughout the enrollment process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of - necessary paperwork. - Address clients' inquiries, concerns, and claims-related issues promptly and professionally. Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients during policy renewals and changes. - 3. Compliance and Documentation: - Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, applications, and policy information within our CRM system (AgencyBloc). - Stay informed about state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines related to Medicare. - Ensure all sales activities adhere to ethical standards and comply with relevant laws and policies. - - Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent Requirements: 3+ years of experience in Medicare insurance sales, with a demonstrated track record in Medigap, Medicare PDPs, and DSNPs. Active Maine State Life and Health License is a must. Strong knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and market trends. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and insurance carriers. Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and integrity, encouraging renewal business. Computer savvy; proficiency in using CRM software, insurance quoting tools, and other relevant technology (email, Word, etc.). Self-motivated and target-driven with a focus on achieving sales goals.
