Job Description:
Nesco Resource is looking for a 2nd Shift Operator-EP located in
Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right
candidate. Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM Pay: $17-$18/hour
depending on experience (12% shift differential) Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Operator to join
the (EP) lab. This role involves performing repetitive tasks to
electropolish wires, tubes, and components while ensuring safety
and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Safely work
with and handle hazardous chemicals following proper protocols Load
and prepare parts for each step in the electropolishing process
Perform etching, electropolishing, passivation, and rinsing in the
correct sequence Use timers to manage time-based process cycles
Operate EP systems, ultrasonic cleaners, stir plates, and other
related equipment Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers
(or be willing to learn) Perform visual inspections using a
microscope Follow all safety and PPE guidelines at all times
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent At least 2 years
of experience in a technical, lab, or manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of chemical handling and safety practices
Ability to read and understand safety and procedural documentation
in English Experience in food handling, raw material prep, or
