Providing direct care and support to individuals based on personalized care plans. Assisting in the development of life skills through proactive engagement and education. Ensuring the health, safety, and wellness of clients by monitoring and reporting any concerns. Collaborating with other team members and external agents to facilitate community inclusion and participation. Documenting progress and setbacks in achieving individual development goals. Advocating for clients' needs and rights within the community and in various social service settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Resilience and patience in challenging situations Basic knowledge of caregiving and supportive counseling CPR and First Aid Certification preferred Any state-specific certifications for direct care or support
