A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in Plainfield, IL, supporting school-aged children in a contract role aligned with the school calendar. This opportunity involves working onsite at two different school sites (one per day) in the Aurora area, providing therapy services primarily to elementary and middle school students. The role focuses on general education and resource classrooms, with occasional support in self-contained special education settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services during the school day across two campuses Collaborate with educators and staff to support students sensory integration and developmental goals Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of varying ages and abilities Qualifications: Active Illinois state license as an Occupational Therapist required Previous experience in pediatric settings or school-based therapy preferred Knowledge of sensory integration techniques and ability to establish and track individualized goals Strong communication skills and ability to work within an educational environment This role is a W-2 contract position offering weekly pay every Friday, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as 401k matching. The position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, following the school day schedule. Immediate starts are encouraged, with interviews conducted via Zoom for convenience.
