Job Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality care to residents in a nursing home facility, assisting with daily living activities and supporting the nursing staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.*Key Responsibilities:** Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.* Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.* Help residents move safely around the facility (e.g., from bed to wheelchair).* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.* Report any changes in residents' health, behavior, or needs to the nursing staff immediately.* Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.* Help maintain a clean and safe living environment, including making beds and tidying rooms.* Follow infection control, safety procedures, and facility policies at all times.* Assist with meal service and feeding residents who need help.* Support restorative and rehabilitation efforts under the supervision of nursing staff.* Participate in resident care planning meetings when necessary.* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.*Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent.* Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.* CPR/BLS and First Aid certification (required).* Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care facility preferred but not always required.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Job Type: ContractPay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 32 40 per weekPhysical Setting:* Long term care* Nursing home* Rehabilitation centerWork Location: In personby Jobble
