A large non-profit healthcare system inCentral Maineis adding a Physiatrist to their collaborative team of three physicians, four nurse practitioners, a psychologist, RN?s, and medical assistants Position Details: Fast-paced, outpatient setting Work collaboratively with other providers and specialties and in partnership with the patient to determine realistic short-and long-term goals Be knowledgeable about and able to manage controlled substances Willingness to work on the inpatient rehabilitation unit as needed Monday through Friday work hours are 8 am-4:30 pm, including an hour of administrative time daily Rotating call responsibility once per month Generous compensation plan with a comprehensive benefits package The Community: Located along the Kennebec River in a family-friendly city of 18,000 people Situated one hour between Portland and Bangor Home to small businesses, museums, arboretum, beautiful state parks, golf courses, and close proximity to ski mountains JV-3
