Key Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse: Provide safe, compassionate care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the birthing process. Administer medications and manage IVs as ordered. Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after childbirth. Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff. Requirements of the Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Connecticut or compact eligible). Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM/NCC and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal monitoring certifications required Minimum of 3 years recent LDRP experience.
