Job Description:
Join Encompass Health as a Speech Pathologist and play a pivotal
role in providing high-quality, integrated post-acute healthcare
services. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing, managing, and
treating speech, language, social communication,
cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients
recovering from a range of ailments. Utilize your expertise in a
supportive environment that values patient-centered care and
premium post-acute services, offered both in facility-based
settings and through our expanding home-health platform. Assess,
diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and
fluency disorders. Develop and implement individualized care plans
based on each patient’s particular needs. Collaborate closely with
other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients and family members about communication strategies
and coping mechanisms. Maintain accurate records and documentation
of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress. Participate in
multidisciplinary meetings to review and optimize patient care
plans. Keep up to date with the latest research and advancements in
speech pathology. Strong understanding of speech-related disorders
and treatments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Proficient with case management software and patient care

Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) preferred.
