Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to
join our team of healthcare professionals in delivering
specialized, compassionate care focused on improving patients'
speech, language, and swallowing abilities. In this role, you will
work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive
evaluations and treatments to our diverse patient population, with
a focus on those recovering from acute health episodes. Our ideal
candidate is an empathetic and skilled communicator passionate
about patient-driven outcomes in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Assess and diagnose disorders related to speech, language, and
swallowing. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on
patient-specific needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals
to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their
families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms.
Maintain accurate patient records and report on progress and
outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development and
clinical research. Expertise in diagnosing and treating speech and
language disorders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in documentation and patient records management.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid
state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
