Job Description:

Genesis HealthCare is actively seeking a Unit Manager to lead our healthcare team dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents and patients. As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations within the unit, ensuring that the highest levels of clinical care and service are maintained. With a strong focus on staff leadership, development, and multidisciplinary collaboration, you are expected to implement policies and procedures that reflect our commitment to clinical excellence. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an environment that meets health, safety, and satisfaction standards, efficiently addressing any issues that may arise and maintaining accurate records. Manage day-to-day operations of the healthcare unit, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Supervise, evaluate, and provide feedback for nursing staff and other direct reports. Ensure the highest quality of care and service to residents and patients. Implement and monitor unit policies and procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective and efficient patient care. Manage staffing schedules, patient records, and resource allocation effectively. Address and resolve any issues related to staff or patient care in a timely manner. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledgeable in healthcare regulations and standards Proficient in using healthcare Information systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., Certified Nursing Manager and Leader (CNML)) is preferred.
