Thank you!Typical Patient Day/Load/Ratio:We perform 60 minute evaluations andtreatment sessions 30 to 45 minutes as appropriate based on diagnosis. We onlytreat one patient at a time. Typical 2 to 3 evaluations a day and thenrest of day treatments ( 2 evaluations plus 11 treatment ( 30 minutes inlength)Cheshire Medical Center offers a broad range of therapies for all ages and abilities. Your intake conversation or direct referral will help us place you with the best therapist to meet your individual needs.An Oncology Physical Therapistevaluates and treats patients with cancer-related impairments, such as pain, fatigue, lymphedema, and functional limitations, to improve quality of life and mobility. They create individualized, evidence-based exercise programs, provide patient education, and coordinate care with oncologists. Responsibilities include managing musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs across the cancer continuum from diagnosis to rehabilitation, survivorship, and palliative care.Physical therapy helpsbuild strength, regain mobility, and improve balance. It can also strengthen your body, reduce pain, and prevent future injury.
