Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is tailored for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) with experience in pediatrics and school settings, providing
specialized speech therapy services for elementary-aged students.
This contract position supports a K-12 school environment located
in South Portland, ME, focusing on students who utilize AAC devices
and require compensatory services. Location: South Portland, ME
Duration: Contract through the end of the school year Schedule:
4-10 hours per week, 1-2 days weekly Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license,
with Maine state licensure required Experience with pediatric
speech therapy in educational settings Knowledge of AAC devices and
compensatory communication services Responsibilities: Deliver
direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on communication
improvements and functional use of AAC devices Collaborate with
educational staff and families to support student progress Maintain
accurate documentation of student goals and therapy outcomes
