The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: What You Will Do: Lead the manufacturing operations for a large value stream within a product line platform and be responsible for all aspects of manufacturing execution, including execution to an MRP schedule, achieving positive variance to HPU performance, and managing work-in-process to avoid aging WIP Drive detailed actions, collaborating with the customer sites to recover delivery schedules for the programs Lead project execution for scheduled recovery efforts Managing/supporting program projects such as reliability, in-service issues, and producibility Provide a detailed line of balance (LOB) with robust actions on various production hardware Periodic interface is required with both internal and external customers’ location, including Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and follow-ups with the supply chain and value stream leaders Liaises with Value Stream Leads (VSL) to understand the customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service. What You Will Bring: A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent experience Prior experience in operations, manufacturing, and/or engineering experience Strong Communication skills SAP knowledge Supply chain experience Production Control concepts, including WIP management LOB and TAKT Experience with lean manufacturing tools and concepts Prior Aerospace Defense experience preferred Working experience with SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning Certification in Program Management, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing preferred Pay Range: $68,000 - $72,000 a year Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel Requirements : Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
