Job Description Join a well-established group of 3 in Litchfield
County CT, close to Hartford, New Haven, and NYC. Enjoy a great
quality of life in this bread-and-butter practice with 3
physicians, 1 of whom does GYN only and another who is looking to
drop OB as well and would like to add 2. This group works out of 1
office which is fully equipped and 1 hospital where they enjoy an
updated L&D with spacious LDRP suites, electronic fetal
monitoring, 24-hour in-house anesthesia and pediatrics, and a level
II nursery. There is no robot, but they are discussing getting one.
They will provide tons of mentoring, a good mix of OB and GYN,
plenty of GYN cases for boards, an easy 1:3 call from home, an
average of 16 – 18 patients daily, a 4-day work week, partnership,
a VERY supportive environment, great QOL and competitive salary and
benefits package. This group averages 150-200 deliveries annually
between 2 providers and they do a lot of inductions so when they
are on call, it is usually quiet. They are presently doing about
60% OB and 40% GYN. They have a superstar CNM who left to raise
kids and who is coming back because she loves this group so much.
This group is very well-respected and has a 99.9% patient
satisfaction rating and they want to practice for their patients
generationally. New hires will be treated as a partner from day 1,
being part of the decision-making process and they do offer a fast
track to partner. This group is part of Women’s Health of CT, the
largest women’s healthcare group in CT with the advantage of
receiving higher reimbursements and lower malpractice rates.
