Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding patient care and support in either our facility-based or home-based settings across various locations. In this role, you will work closely with RNs and other staff to meet the physical and emotional needs of our patients, helping them reach their health recovery goals. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Capability to perform physical tasks frequently Solid understanding of patient care procedures Empathy and compassion towards patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required CPR certification is highly preferred
