Job Description Job Description Assignment Details Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED) Start Date: June 9, 2025 Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (option for 48) On-Call: No Qualifications & Requirements License: Current NYS RN license required Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience ED experience preferred but not mandatory Critical care and charge experience preferred Certifications: BLS and ACLS required PALS required (or must be obtained within 6 months) Must be certified in IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy during orientation EMR System: MEDITECH Skills & Expectations Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations Strong clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual patient assessment skills Must prioritize safety for self and patients (e.g., use of lifts) Effective in high-stress environments with problem-solving abilities Leadership and delegation skills; may serve as charge nurse Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
